MEET OUR GUEST: Shirley Hughes Shirley Hughes serves as President of Brand Marketing for Rogers & Cowan/PMK. Hughes leads all new business and integrated marketing efforts, and plays a strategic role in driving organic growth for the agency across all brand disciplines. Since joining Rogers & Cowan in 2016, Hughes has been an integral part of the agency’s transition from a Public Relations firm, to a fully integrated marketing and communications agency. She also played a key role in Rogers & Cowan’s merger with PMK*BNC earlier this year, helping build Rogers & Cowan/PMK into the preeminent integrated marketing and communications agency in global entertainment.
Hughes oversees a team of 185 employees that develop and execute marketing, experiential, PR, influencer, talent, music and entertainment strategy as an integrated offering to Rogers & Cowan PMK’s more than 30 global brand clients. Fortune 100 brands represented by Rogers & Cowan/PMK include Cisco, GM, Heineken, McDonalds, Microsoft and Verizon. During Hughes’ tenure at the agency, Rogers & Cowan’s brand marketing client roster and has tripled.
Prior to joining Rogers & Cowan, Hughes led global client engagement efforts at Branded Entertainment Network (BEN), a Bill Gates Company. While at BEN, Hughes oversaw the agency’s Global Client Engagement team, which focused on new business development, client management, and strategic insight. Hughes has also held leadership positions at Wasserman Media Group, Eastwest Marketing Group, and Paramount Home Entertainment.
Hughes is a graduate of Minnesota State University, and holds degrees in Mass Communications and Applied Science Communications.


Each session will cover interviewee’s  personal feelings during quarantine, business strategies, share tactics, concerns, and alliances that are being formed during this global crisis. Our mission is to spread hope, positivity, and connection while uniting entrepreneurs and founders.The conversations will focus on how they have developed resiliency through topics such as health/wellness, working from home, running a business during Covid-19, and thoughts about the future.
