The Art of Getting Over Yourself

By: Fyli

This workshop is for leaders and entrepreneurs who are eager to enhance their strategies for cultivating authentic community engagement, belonging and joy—both personally and professionally. In this workshop, Eli will teach you:

  1. How to hold yourself accountable for the role you play in both your personal narrative and communal experience
  2. How to ask intelligent and integral questions that shape empowering conversations
  3. Deconstruct “stories” that make you and your team feel isolated

We’ll use mindfulness techniques and interactive storytelling methodology to help you rethink the context in which you gather with yourself and your people. The workshop will end with a short n’ fun, interactive Drunk Yoga® experience. (*Wear clothes you can move in and have a glass ready of something that makes you happy!)

Eli Walker is the founder/CEO of the internationally-acclaimed Drunk Yoga®, the first-of-its-kind interactive yoga company that infuses the social ritual of a happy hour or morning coffee into a beginner-friendly yoga practice using games and icebreakers to create a sense of belonging for corporate team-building and private events. Before founding Drunk Yoga®, Eli earned a BFA in Acting from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, with an emphasis on both experimental theater and sociology–particularly as it pertains to community-based theater. She has a passion for helping leaders build strong, conscious communities by helping them tap into the intersection of mindfulness and storytelling–the entry point to self-empowerment.
